Hey guys, it’s Manny — Founder of Carferno and better known online as My Mobile Mechanic, a page on Facebook with nearly 1 million followers built by showing real mobile auto repair, real breakdowns, and the truth about how this industry actually works.

I’ve been in the automotive industry for over 21 years, and I’ve watched the same problems hurt both sides of auto repair — but especially mechanics. Good mechanics get overlooked, earnings get capped, and too many are forced to spend thousands on Google Ads just to compete with unverified pop-up LLCs, while the mechanics who actually care get buried behind paid placement and online noise. At the same time, drivers struggle with clarity, convenience, and trust — they don’t know who’s real, what’s fair, or who to believe. I built Carferno to fix that.
